However, after digging a little further I stumbled upon a relatively unknown Swedish study published in the Public Journal Of Science in 2013.

Researchers Fernemark and Jaredsson wanted to understand the effect particular diets have on blood sugar and insulin.

The caloric intake of these three diet remained the same, but they differed in the following manner:

The researchers reported that the low carb approach produced the best results in terms of reducing blood sugar and insulin, which is nothing new, but the group that skipped breakfast also showed very positive benefits and this got me thinking…

Admittedly, she was a little hesitant at first, but she was desperate to flatten and tone her stomach and so she grabbed the opportunity with both hands!

Yet science doesn’t always transfer over to the "Real World" when work, family and other social engagements come into play.
